I love finding new blogs to read and it the spirit of Follow Friday and sharing the love, I thought I’d share a few of my favourite blogs. I’ll try not to fangirl too much.
First up is Sisterhood (and all that) written by Steph. Not only is Steph the brains behind the alternative gift company Don’t Buy Her Flowers, she’s also a great writer. Every blog post I read from her has me nodding in agreement and I think she is the perfect mix of clever and funny. This is one of my favourite posts from her (and it’s so true!).
Donna from Crayons In My MiuMiu is one of my favourite people ever. We met on the Cambridge park-and-ride on the way to a Britmums meet-up and have been friends ever since! She’s one of the nicest people you could ever meet and is super stylish too. In addition to her blog and her crazy impressive working out, she also writes for Babiekins Mag Blog which she does a wonderful job of. We haven’t got around to a girly shopping trip yet but I know it’s going to be awesome (and probably expensive!) when we do!
Something Devine is a gorgeous blog written by a very talented (and very modest) videographer. I absolutely love Hailey’s positivity, her photos and of course, the wonderful videos. I almost don’t want to share because I’m a bit “I found this awesome blog and you will never want to read this one again after you’ve read hers!”. I love to see snippets of her work and take my hat off to her for balancing work with motherhood. And she just joined YouTube! Take a look!
Hyperbole and a Half was one of the first blogs I ever read and although it’s been a while since it was updated, it’s well worth reading through the archives. This girl has me literally crying with laughter, even on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th reading. It’s probably not a huge surprise that one of my favourite posts features cake. “Cake is the only thing that matters”
So, occasionally I get the urge to do something crazy with my hair even though I know I will always end up back asking for “like the blonde one from ABBA”. One night while looking at red hair on Pinterest, I ended up on Katie’s blog Skunkboy and was like, “OMG I LOVE HER!”. This girl’s style is right up my street! I think she has awesome taste and I love that her blog isn’t all about kids. I love kids, of course I do, but after 8 years, I’m a little over it. I love that Katie shares snippets of her family’s life but that her blog is about everything else that goes on too. I love seeing stuff she’s made, home projects she’s working on and the DIYs.
I have EVEN MORE blogs that I love but here’s a few that I really enjoy and that you may not have heard of. Which blog are you enjoying right now? Share some Friday link love!
