I found towards the end of last year that I was taking less photos of my family and it’s something that I’ve really missed doing. I do love a photo project and so when Clare from Maybush Studio mentioned the Home Life Project, I was all over it! The idea is to capture an ordinary day at home and all those little details you might otherwise miss. You can read more about it HERE.
Our Sunday was a quiet one. We pottered around the house and Simon made a Sunday roast while I made Eve’s Pudding for afters. I love a good old granny style pudding with loads of custard, especially on a horrid winter’s day. My family came to visit for the afternoon and brought along the Christmas presents that we weren’t able to fit the car (like the scooter and bike…these kids aren’t spoilt at all…). My good friend Rebs is moving house at the end of the month and needed to find a new home for her chickens and we were more than happy to adopt them! Bevan wanted to name them and so we now have Rose, Martha, Amy and Clara. I wonder if you can guess where the inspiration for those names came from?
