Hello there!

Cilla always started by asking “What’s your name and where do you come from?”

Hi Cilla, I’m Hayley and I’m from Worcestershire!

I live in Bedfordshire now with my husband and our two children (more on them later). We’ve been married for nearly ten years and he’s still complaining about the cost of the wedding! We met at the end of 2000 in Kenya (it sounds much more glamourous than it really was) and it was love at first sight. We bonded over a mutual love of Acorn Antiques and old comedy. 15 years, 4 moves, 2 kids and a couple of stone later we’re still going strong. I am really lucky to have found someone who obviously has a high tolerance for crazy.

Our son Bevan arrived in 2007 and my love of photography has grown with him. He is Lego, Minecraft and Doctor Who obsessed, much to his father’s delight and has the most incredible imagination and loves going on adventures. He really is the most perfect kid for us.

Honor came along in November 2011. One of her middle names (yes, plural) is Sunshine after our love of Morcambe & Wise (if you don’t know who they are, you need to get yourself on YouTube ASAP). She can usually be found wearing those plastic dress up shoes that make the best noise across the laminate floor.

When I’m not wiping noses, singing “Let It Go”, rebuilding Lego models or negotiating bedtime extensions, I like to take photos. I created this blog to save all my Facebook friends from the constant stream of photos so if you’ve clicked on here, it’s your own fault! I love capturing my sweet little family, being a mother is the most wonderful thing I’ve ever done and I love that I can preserve all the best bits of these tired years with the click of a shutter.

If you want to get in touch to talk about photos or working together or perhaps you want a second opinion on something you’ve seen on eBay, everything you need to know is on the contact page.
